Timeframe: October 2011
With the "preliminaries" out of the way, it's time to get started.
The first trip to the lumberyard (no warehouse yards for this stuff) and we are good to go. It's tough these days to find a "true" lumberyard, but the yards that are still out there generally have quality stuff that is very fun to walk around and look at. Not cheap, tho... I can't forget "you get what you pay for" while we work on this project. Too much personal time involved to waste energy on cheap goods!
In fact, the first lumber you cut isn't even for the boat! Ya gotta have a support for the new vessel to be created on...!
Time for the boat yet???
